Wifi / Hotspot Access

Hello!

I saw this forum and thought I would add about Wifi access. I have been in Sweden for 5 days and have managed to get access using hotspots most days.

I have an antenna which gives me 1km of range, there should be something similar available in Sweden?

In a year or two most accesspoints/router are going to be replaced with newer ones and allmost all of them are preconfigured with wpa/wpa2.
The extra long range antenna is a great thing on campsites with weak wireless solutions.

The most modern way of communication is called tethering and that is made by using your smartphones wifi as accesspoint/router.
Just buy a cheap cash3g card and put in the phone wherever you are.

The tethering is a great thing but will eventually destroy the operators extra charge for an external 3g modem and some countrys have already blocked it out (USA).
