Vet ikke om dette er kjent, - men har du iPad eller iPhone og bruker TomTom app på disse kan du legge inn egne poi med programmet DiskAid.
Fungerer meget bra og kan lastes gratis fra nett.

Har du testat iExplorer?
Vi har nyligen lyckats lägga in POI:s i både iGO och CoPilot med den.
Eftersom jag inte har TomTom installerad kan jag inte testa själv.

Har ikke testet de du her nevner. Jeg kjører bare TomTom på alt jeg har av navigasjon, og da er det DiskAid som gjelder.
Meget enkelt program, bare dra og slipp filer fra pc til navigasjonsenhet.

När jag jobbade mot iGO, så provade jag först med DiskAid. Men den kom bara åt filerna via root (dvs jailbreakad). iExplorer löste det utan root access.

Är det så att TomTom visas under Apps i Diskaid? Det gjorde inte iGO.

Men DiskAid är ett snyggare program och mer lättanvänt för det det klarar...

Dock är huvudbudskapet här att man lätt kan importera poi-filer till TomTom på iPad och iPhone. Kanonbra besked.

Ved å åpne DiskAid og koble til iPad får du se innholdet på Ipaden.
TomTom filene lastes ned her på forumet og legges i mappen Western Europa (hvis det kartet du har på iPad)
Selv har jeg i tillegg lagt inn hele Bordatlas.

With DiskAid installed to your PC the first step is to enable all the options in the user preferences. Launch the application and select DiskAid/ Preferences from the Toolbar and make sure all options are selected:



Shut down and then restart DiskAid as the required change will only take effect at the next start up of the program.

Download the Speed Zoned Database from this site in TomTom ov2 format and unzip the download to a folder on the PC, you only need to keep the ov2 files from this download as the icons and sound files are downloaded from this page instead as the normal icons don't work with the iPhone app.
The zip file download from near the top of this page contains all the icons that have been modified and ready to use within the iPhone app, also included is a set of spoken voice alerts and the mapsettings.cfg file

Connect your iPhone to the computer, iTunes isn't needed for the rest of this procedure so it can be shut down.

Launch DiskAid and locate the folder where the TomTom app resides, in this next screen shot it is for the UK & ROI app, if you have Western_Europe installed the folder name will differ:
